JOB SUMMARY
This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a passionate and technically skilled individual with a strong commitment to exceptional customer service and user experience. This role is a key contributor to the success of our organization's digital workplace strategy with a focus on meeting room technology and meeting support. As a Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting a range of solutions across our clinical locations in collaboration with other engineers and analysts on the team who sit across the organizational footprint. Those solutions will be comprised of both back-end systems that are transparent to meeting participants who utilize the technology in the meeting rooms, and the equipment in the meeting rooms that those meeting participants operate and rely on for successful meetings. Your digital media production skills will also be utilized in the production of audio, photography, and video media.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for one or many of the following tasks: analyzing, designing, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions, as well as providing general production monitoring and support, meeting defined scope, target dates and budgets with minimal or no defects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, product, analytics, and business teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions that meet organizational needs
- Monitor work against production schedule and provide progress updates and report any issues or technical difficulties to leadership on a regular basis.
- Document technical processes and procedures, and participate in technical reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of with architecture to ensure solution alignment to enterprise goals and standards
- Perform technical analysis and provide insights to support decision-making across various departments
- Stay up-to-date with the latest relevant technologies and industry best practices
- Other duties as assigned or requested.
EXPERIENCE
- 3 years of experience in one or many of the following tasks: analyzing, designing, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions, as well as providing general production support, meeting defined scope, target dates and budgets with minimal or no defects
- 3 years of technical problem solving, solution implementation, team/project collaboration experience
- 3 years of basic computer science concepts and principles, common operating systems, development languages/scripting
Preferred
- Audio-Visual Integration: Proven success regarding the design and implementation of cutting-edge audio-visual solutions for meeting rooms and other spaces in clinical locations.
- Digital Signage: Proven success in ensuring uptime and the smooth operation of hardware systems that meet the needs of the business owner for each system.
- Media Production: Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality audio (i.e. podcasts, etc.), photography (i.e. professional headshots, event photography, etc.), and video (i.e. talking heads, etc.) for use both internally and externally.
Meeting Live Stream: Proven success with the management of a streaming backend and with the operation of in-room the real-time video streaming for events, conferences, and meetings.
Meeting Support: Proven success with providing technical support for meetings and conferences for groups of hospital administrators, corporate executives, and clinicians holding various credentials. Support will occur both in on-site meeting rooms using installed equipment and in off-site venues utilizing portable equipment.
Video Conferencing: Proven success in the management and maintenance of an organization’s video conferencing backend, endpoints, Microsoft Teams cloud video interoperability, and Zoom platform.
Interpersonal Communication: Demonstrated ability to interact with care providers at all levels of credentialing as well as an organization's administrators and other leaders in a helpful and effective manner.

EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Technology, Music Technology, User Experience, or related field. Advanced degree in the same.
LICENSES or CERTIFICATIONS

- Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Technology Specialist (CTS).
