Your role at Clorox:

As an Electrical and Controls Engineer at Clorox, you’ll focus on Processing and Packaging area improvements, utilizing the TRACC continuous improvement strategy. This hands-on role includes leading and supporting teams in developing, designing, installing, and launching new products, implementing product improvements, and integrating technology upgrades. You’ll lead small to medium-sized projects, apply advanced problem-solving, and collaborate closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure practical, effective solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide technical solutions and assess capital project feasibility.
  • Manage engineering administrative functions to support project progression.
  • Oversee design, construction, and execution of capital projects
  • Participate in technical seminars to stay current with industry advancements and encourage cross-functional learning.
  • Train on-site EIC technicians, fostering skills and knowledge transfer.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and drive adherence to Clorox Project Management Standards, with a focus on safety.
  • Advocate for engineering innovation within the packaging area and across the facility.
  • Support cost savings initiatives, manage capital budget processes, and ensure project spending aligns with budget objectives.
  • Solicit and evaluate contractor bids, coordinating with external suppliers and consultants to meet project goals.
  • Support Production efforts, as needed
  • Lead Autonomous Maintenance and other equipment reliability projects

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical Equivalent
  • Familiarity with NEC, ANSI, IEC, NEMA, NFPA, and OSHA standards.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering with a focus on instrumentation and controls.
  • 2+ years in capital project management within manufacturing (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of batch, continuous, and discrete manufacturing processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley hardware and software.
  • Proficiency in industrial power, lighting, and power distribution applications.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and direct cross-functional teams to exceptional results.
  •  Strong analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills for task prioritization.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic manufacturing environment, with availability for after-hours and weekend support (as needed).
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed electrical schematics.
  • Experience in consumer-packaged goods or similar industries.

The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

Zone A: $86,600 - $161,900
Zone B: $79,400 - $148,400
Zone C: $72,100 - $134,900
