Senior Engineer

Shipt, Inc. seeks a full-time Senior Engineer based in San Francisco, CA. The Senior Engineer is responsible for the design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend application code. Req: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology and Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 3 years of experience in agile development. Must also have 2 years of experience with each of the following: (1) working with Golang, Python, SQL, and Apache Spark; (2) working with event queues and streams, including Kafka, AWS SNS and SQS event queues; (3) utilizing workflow orchestration tools including Airflow; (4) working on data warehousing platforms including Snowflake, AWS Athena, and AWS Glue; and (5) implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Salary: $155,605 to $220,842/year.
