EXE New Product Introduction: Manufacturing Engineering Escalation Project Lead
Motivation:
Wilton Production Engineering requires a dedicated daily escalation lead to put focus on specific modules/machines, address critical issues, team guidance, and proper planning to deliver EXE Top Main Machine to customer demand.
Mission: To realize 'World Class' support to Manufacturing in order to ensure highest product quality, short lead-times and 'short time-to-market' by continuous improvement of ASML's new and existing products and processes. This position is based in EXE New Product Introduction Group (NPI) within the manufacturing sector in Wilton, Connecticut.
Planning:
Responsible for High level planning (overarching milestones) across multiple modules
Responsible for daily overall Top Main Machines (TMM) Status Reporting and output prognosis
Drive and report on critical TMM issues (these are independent from individual/specific TMM’s)
Aggregation of manufacturing plans plans across all Top Main Machines (TMM) in WIP (Work in Progress)
Drive/adjust daily plan as needed
Technical Synchronization of output schedule between departments across several modules
Drives Action:
Single Point of Contact from Manufacturing Floor to outside stakeholders on a for all escalations blocking output
Conversion of escalation in WIP to forward builds
Owns the machine escalations end to end to support the system owners:
Make on-the-spot Prio calls when needed
Quick decision making to resolve plan changes
Escalation Lead, responsible for driving shift-to-shift escalation support (across multiple TMM's as required)
Request/Secure resources when needed (i.e. D&E for CPD’s, EDEV/MDEV support for issues etc).
Including escalation to management
Escalate sub module issues that will impact planned delivery dates to MBTM (i.e. LOS, RED, REMA, other critical material)
Reporting:
Responsible for setting up and maintaining output visualization (Gantt Charts)
Provide input to / or own the daily status update for all WIP to Program/Business Line
Key deliverable tracking and reporting to Sr Management
Education and experience
To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you will need experience working on high-tech products and with complex processes:
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or related field (e.g. Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, etc.)
3+ years of project leadership experience (Proven professional success in prior project or task management)
Experience presenting to Senior Management
Experience in leading projects through escalations, with succinct planning, prioritization, and communication
Ideally, 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing of high-tech and complex products.
Exposure to multi-disciplinary projects (e.g. imaging/optical systems, semiconductor, lithography, etc.) preferred but not required
Skills
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required including presenting results to audiences of a wide range of technical abilities
Able to “lead”, not just “manage”, a team
Ability to multitask and make quick priority calls on a daily basis
Relevant knowledge in one technical discipline (mono or multi)
Ability to derive conclusions from analyses and make practical recommendations
Highly motivated and takes the initiative Works well in a dynamic environment.
Experience in an ERP System (Preference SAP).
Other information
Preferred: Good knowledge and understanding of ASML’s technically complex products, or similar complexity within a high-tech company
Preferred: Detailed understanding of ASML’s operational, production, and upgrade processes.
Preferred: Experience with driving complex escalations together with a cross-sectoral team (D&E, Product marketing, first line support and others), in operational context under time pressure.
Experience with EUV is preferred.
