Position: Civil Engineer Practice Leader
Location: Murfreesboro, TN
Duration: Fulltime permanent
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 / DOE

The Practice Leader will oversee the project design, client communication, permitting, and management on a wide range of commercial and residential development projects. This position will be responsible for expanding the civil practice and collaborating in-house with other civil engineers, landscape architects, and land surveyors to assist our clients in developing public and private projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead business development efforts to expand practice locally
  • Oversee day to day operations of the department, including design of land development projects and managing office staff
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Manage clients and the internal team to ensure all project goals and deadlines are met
  • Supervise project lifecycles from conception to completion
  • Coordinate business development with other internal departments and offices
  • Create and adhere to budgets, projections and forecasting
  • Serve as subject matter expert in site design
  • Additional related duties as needed
Requirements
  • Active PE license
  • 10-15+ years of proven experience in site design
  • 5+ years of previous employee management experience
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented individual
  • Strong communication skills
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
